Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy

  1. Bookings: a reservation is confirmed with a 50% deposit via bank transfer, Sinpe Móvil or PayPal. The remaining 50% is paid on the day of service.
  2. Prices: in USD. They include private A/C transportation, bilingual driver, fuel, tolls, parking, first-aid kit and INS traveler insurance. They do not include park entrance fees (unless indicated) or tips.
  3. Client cancellation:
    • More than 72 hours before: 100% refund minus 10% administrative fee.
    • 48–72 hours: 50% refund.
    • Less than 48 hours or no-show: 0% refund.
    • Extreme weather (CNE red alert): free reschedule or 100% refund.
  4. Liability: we are not responsible for missed flights due to traffic, landslides or road closures beyond our control. We recommend leaving 3.5 hours before your flight.
  5. Conduct: smoking, drugs and excessive alcohol that put safety at risk are prohibited. The driver may stop the service.
  6. Luggage: 1 large suitcase + 1 carry-on per passenger. Lost items are kept for 30 days.
  7. Minors: child safety seat available on request at no extra cost (Law 9078 art. 94 quinquies).
  8. Accessibility Law 7600: personalized assistance, guide-dog space and folding ramp on request with 48 hours' notice. Please inform us of your needs when booking.

Applicable law: laws of Costa Rica. Jurisdiction: Guanacaste courts.

Privacy Policy - Law 8968 and GDPR

Data we collect: name, nationality, hotel, flight, WhatsApp, number of passengers and special needs.

Purpose: quoting, booking, electronic invoicing with Hacienda, issuing INS traveler policy and complying with CTP.

Legal basis: performance of a tourist transport contract and compliance with CTP/ICT/Hacienda legal obligations.

Retention: 5 years due to tax obligations.

Rights: access, rectification, erasure and objection. Request to info@oceanbreezecostarica.com.

We do not sell data to third parties. We share data only with ICT, INS or Hacienda when legally required.

Cookies: we use Google Analytics cookies. You may disable them in your browser.

For the EU: the data protection officer is the owner. You may file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if applicable.
